When learning a new language, understanding sentence structure<\/strong> is key. In Persian (Farsi), word order is a little different from English, but it’s very consistent and logical. One of the first things to learn is the Subject-Object-Verb (SOV)<\/strong> structure.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s break it down in a simple way.<\/p>\n

1. Basic Persian Sentence Structure<\/h3>\n

In English, we usually say:<\/p>\n

Subject + Verb + Object<\/strong>

But in Persian<\/strong>, we say:<\/p>\n

Subject + Object + Verb<\/strong>

3. What About Questions?<\/h3>\n

To ask simple yes\/no questions<\/strong>, you just change your intonation<\/strong> (no need to switch word order):<\/p>\n

Statement: \u062a\u0648 \u0642\u0647\u0648\u0647 \u062f\u0648\u0633\u062a \u062f\u0627\u0631\u06cc. (You like coffee.)
Question: \u062a\u0648 \u0642\u0647\u0648\u0647 \u062f\u0648\u0633\u062a \u062f\u0627\u0631\u06cc\u061f (Do you like coffee?)<\/p>\n

For wh-questions<\/strong>, just add the question word at the beginning:<\/p>\n
